В ControlLogix V17 внедрили [b:751186b6cf]стукача [/b:751186b6cf] (протоколирование всех изменений сделанных в Online) и не только это. Есть различия между Compact* и Control*.

Доброго времени суток.
Есть скада OpenSCADA под Linux, которая поддерживает ModBus TCP. И есть модуль для CompactLogix MVI69-MNET.
Можно-ли (кто-нибудь пробовал) построить на данном железе систему управления: в качестве контроллера 1769-L32E, в качестве скады две OpenSCADA и связь между ними через MVI69-MNET?

Help.
Just over a month ago one of our Dell notebook PCs died taking out it's hard drive too. It was known there were some licenses on the drive but it wasn't a major issue as we have other licenses on other PCs. The job of restoring the applications to a replacement notebook wasn't urgent and left to another person. As things transpire this other person resigned and left a short time ago leaving the job of getting things working on my plate. Great.
Another of our engineers is developing a combined CompactLogix and RSView application and wanted to test it with one of our RSEmulate5000 programs (we have 2 licenses) - and hey, as you can guess, one of our lost licenses was for this program. The other license resides with a service engineer who happens to be abroad and he may get violent if we ask for it back!
Although our current RSEmulate5000 is v16 I believe it's a master disk activation as it's an upgrade from v15. The activation certificate states N/A for Product Key and Activation Type, it also says "To activate, insert Master Diskette" - which is a bit of a clue.
I cannot for the life of me find the master disk and to compound matters our TechConnect contract is currently invalid due to some mix up with the renewal. Isn't life great. That's why I'm posing questions on this forum!
Anyone got any suggestions?
Colleagues have offered their thoughts, like "Find a tall building ..." and "Buy some more licenses you stingy old f.....". Bstds.

While buying a support contract provides lots of benefits (not to mention pays my salary... ), we don't require one for activation help.
In this case, you'll most likely need a new master disk shipped out to you. Call into the Support Center and the activations group will get you straightened out.

You are of course right JHutch.
I called them this morning and sorted out my activation issues and they also confirmed we do have a support contract. Mind you where the support pack went I don't know, probably got lost in the post. Anyway, more is winging it's way to us.
So it's generally a better day. I might have to pop over the pop over the pub at lunchtime for a pint.

По софту: для SLC500 необходимо ПО RSLogix500, для CompactLogix необходимо ПО RSLogix5000
По железу: программатор (ноутбук) + кабель 1756-СР3 или 1747-СР3. Это кабель для связи по СОМ-порту с процессорами. Если у программатора нет СОМ-порта - подумайте о конверторе интерфейса COM-USB. Все сказанное мною по железу относится ко всем CompactLogix-ам и к SLC5/03...05. Если у Вас процессоры SLC5/01,02 - тогда кабели другие. В зависимости от моделей процессоров возможна также связь и по Ethernet
Как делать: соединяетесь с процессорами, делаете Upload, сохраняете проект на жестком диске - и вот вам резервная копия. Есть возможность также хранить резервную копию в самом процессоре на карточке или модуле памяти и восстанавливать память без Вашего непосредственного участия.

Есть ряд систем, поставленных сторонними производителями на контроллерах АВ SLC500 и Compact. На поставлена задача восстановить их в случае сбоя. Вопрос:
1. как сделать резервные копии проектов в контроллерах.
2. какой софт для этого необходим.
3. какое железо необходимо закупить.
4. где почитать как вообще это делается (с АВ ранше не работали).

- Issue Description -
With the above-mentioned ControlLogix and CompactLogix products, hereafter referred to as Logix products, the following functional issue exists:
Functional Issue – A functional issue has been identified with a component used on the above-listed products manufactured from October 2006 through March 2007. A root-cause analysis performed on the component indicates that approximately 1.0% of the products may be affected. Depending on the type of product, the issue may result in erroneous data.
Anomalies observed to date have resulted in modules performing a safe shutdown due to internal diagnostics. To date, we have not seen any instances of erroneous data in the field as a result of this issue.

Раньше считал - Compact получался дороже.
Хотя в одном месте будет дешевле - подключу 3 шт. PF400 через 1769-SM2.

А просчитай-ка Compact, может оказаться, что стоимость системы будет не выше, чем FlexLogix.

Увы, сочувствую.
Из "мелких" - только 1769 или 1768 CompactLogix.
Модули FlexIO можно повесить на любую сеть, необязательно их использовать локально (да они не для этого и существуют).
Причина простая: низкий спрос, производить невыгодно. А на CompactLogix, напротив, очень высокий, продаётся в огромных объёмах.
ControlLogix тоже, кстати, отлично продаётся. Все крупные ОЕМы только на нём и работают: P&G, KRAFT, CocaCola, GM, Ford и др. др.
Когда будешь лепить следующую систему - посмотри, не уходит ли выбранное тобой оборудование в Silver :oops: :wink:

У Вас прошивка 13.25 - думаю все таки можно попробовать прошить контроллер - проблем не должно быть
